	Western North Carolina Green Building Council (www.wncgbc.org) - The Western North Carolina Green Building Council is our regions leader in green building. This website is the best source of information about local: green builders, green building experts, green building material suppliers, HealthyBuilt Homes, events and continuing education opportunities.
	US Green Building Council (www.usgbc.org) - The US Green Building Council is a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C. that runs the LEED (Leadership in Education and Environmental Design) certification program and coordinates green building efforts at a national level. They are an excellent source of information for finding out about green building across the Country.
	Congress of New Urbanism (www.cnu.org) - The Congress of New Urbanism is a non-profit organization that advocates for neighborhoods that are walkable and contain a diverse range of housing and jobs. New Urbanists support regional planning for open space, appropriate architecture and planning, and the balanced development of jobs and housing as strategies to rein in urban sprawl.
	Conservation Trust for North Carolina (www.ctnc.org)- The Conservation Trust for North Carolina is a non-profit statewide conservation organization that works to protect our state’s land and water through statewide conservation and cooperative work with land trusts.
